Michael E. Walker, 73, of Albany, GA, passed away at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date in Goose Creek, SC
Michael was born on May 25, 1947, in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Arnold and Deloris Mann Walker. He served in the United States Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Walker had resided in Albany since 1995 and was previously employed with the Marine Corps Logistic Base until his retirement in 2007. His favorite hobby was woodworking.
In addition to his parents Michael was preceded in death by his wife Holly Matlock Walker, granddaughter Holly Kathryn Page, two brothers David Walker, Kenny Walker, and a sister Sharon Walker. Survivors include two brothers Timothy Alan Walker, Steven Walker, a sister Pamela Sue Burke all of Goose Creek, SC, stepsons Anthony Page of Albany, GA, Jerry Page of Hanahan SC, James Page of Spartanburg SC, and a grandson Anthony G. Page Jr.
